playing around

NO EXPECTATION
NO JUDGEMENT
NO INTENTION
NO PLAN
NO GOAL
NO PRESSURE
NO POWER
NO MEANING
NO PAST
NO FUTURE
NO HARDNESS
JUST PLAYING

katze und krieg play in public urban space. The two adult women use what they find on site. Barefoot and open to what happens, they investigate the possibilities and limits of children’s play. They confront our crisis-ridden present with their light-hearted and hedonistic play. The audience is invited to accompany katze und krieg during their performance in urban space connected with an audiotransmittor and headphones.
Thus they play hungry tigers and attack passers-by on the sidewalk, they play delivery service and ring doorbells of strangers or they play bus drivers by transporting passers-by on a found chair on an escalator.
