katze und krieg are the two artists – katharinajej and Julia Dick.
They met in 2007 during their studies at the University of Fine Arts in Braunschweig. Since then they have been working together. They are based in Cologne, Germany. In 2021, they do hold a Guest Professorship of Performance Studies at the Justus Liebig University Giessen.
